The New Channel Project represents the corporate and political assignment component of Mike Fox's photojournalism activities.

Mike Fox has worked all over Europe, South Africa and the United States with assignments also taking him to other parts of Africa, the Middle East, Haiti. Mexico and South-East Asia.  As well as more than 20 years as a professional photographer, Mike brings extensive experience of media communications and marketing, having worked in those capacities at IBM in South Africa and the U.S.  He continues to work on projects that aim to re-engage public interest in humanitarian issues.

Covering breaking news, political campaigns, and major events, Mike also works on several longer-term documentary photography projects focusing on subjects such as the life of U.S. military veterans and alternative lifestyles in the San Francisco Bay Area.  In his years as a photojournalist, Mike has been doused in tear gas, nearly attacked by a wild donkey, and brought in to land on an aircraft carrier in the Pacific.  His work has been featured in many leading daily, weekly and monthly publications as well as on MSNBC, CNN and other news-related web sites.

Mike specializes in corporate photojournalism and has a substantial client list, many of which are located in the Silicon Valley area.  He is recognized for his ability to quickly capture high quality and innovative photographs of busy executives with the minimum of fuss and absolute discretion.  Among those featured in Mike’s work are Donald Trump, Steve Jobs, Larry Flynt, John McCain, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.  Clients include SAP, NASA, Veritas, Motorola, PepsiCo, The Learning Annex and Greenpeace.

Mike is a regularly invited speaker on the subject of photojournalism, the business of photography, and international affairs.  He has recently presented at a top Apple Store location as well as for the ASMP.  Mike is working on several book projects, most of which are photography related, with others focused on small business sales and marketing.  Mike writes regularly for Black Star and his own blog.
